SCOTTS VALLEY COMMUNITY TOUR

The City of Scotts Valley was incorporated in 1966 and as of the 2010 census has a population close to 12,000. Scotts Valley is located in an ideal location that is about 30 minutes from Silicon Valley and less than 10 minutes from downtown Santa Cruz and local beaches. Scotts Valley is a tight knit community and is known for it’s warm weather, proximity to the Redwood forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains, its low crime levels, and highly rated public school system. Scotts Valley has several popular neighborhoods including Hidden Glen, which has its own horse stables, tennis courts, and community pool. Skypark, a newer development of homes that are adjacent to the recreational park also known as Skypark, has playgrounds, soccer fields, sport courts, and is often a site of community events and gatherings. The neighborhood of Scotts Valley Heights sits up above Mount Hermon Road and is popular for single family homes. Monte Fiore is a gated community with homes built in the mid to late 1990s.
